The g/f bought me a brand new Bazooka Prospector sluice for Christmas. It has been flooding ever since and I've been unable to go out and sluice. Finally the rivers are low enough but now it's Winter Steelhead season. Three day weekend coming up for me. G/f is out of town and it's supposed to be sunny and nice.

How many days and hours will I spend mining and how many fishing??......I don't know how to choose, oh the humanity!!

Scoop those puppies up while they feed on your tailings!

I'm wondering if I can shovel and fight fish at the same time.......

Swap off ,catch a fish then sluice some Gold . Equal time for each , in your endever .

Looks like i'll be sluicing tomorrow, fishing was crap today, still any day fishing is better than a day at the office

I'm headed down to your area tomorrow to do some sluicing. One of these days we'll have to make a day of it.

Man I miss Northbend and Coosbay as a teen. Wish I knew about prospecting then. I'd be up to Smith river or Camp creek.

Well luckily you landed in NC. Plenty of gold there

Been out welding and building today, picked up some nice samples when i was out sluicing. Also got some samples from eastern Oregon that i picked up during elk season that I've been wanting to crush, this cost me $17 to make out of scrap works really well, 3 or 4 wacks and the rock is dust, will test it and see how it works this weekend

Just toss the grenade upstream of the bazooka and pull the fish out when they float through while you're shoveling.

Fishing and mining problem solved!

*hands game warden lit stick of dynamite, "You gonna talk, or you gonna fish?"

Of course, i always have fun out there, ran into the usual problem, lots of claim signs and trying to figure out which ones were closed. Good trip though I know where I'll be with the dredge come June.

That sounds like a great problem to have no wrong choice

Cut a hole a foot or so off the bottom, weld a feeder chute diagonally into the side. Smash smash smash, lift above the chute and drop another in.
