Been sick this last week:crybaby2: but finally had to go for a little over an hour. Hunted the old home sites above a spring I found recently. Still no coins:BangHead: but the silver plated one sure got my heart pumping until I got a good look at it. Looks like some cool back marks but feel a little too rough to fool with cleaning them any further tonight.:sleepy4:

That is a fancy backmark .. Wonder what it says? Good Finds! Hope you are feeling better!

the one old english script looks to say Old Place or something to me
 

What I really like is no modern trash .....LOTS of iron but no rotten rusty cans, can slaw, or mason jar lids etc. Nothing past mid 1800's so far. :laughing7:

YOU ROCK!!!!!! those are some more beautiful flat buttons, I have YET to find any old flat buttons. Just not lucky i guess.
