I went back to the house that is being sold that I just had a couple days to hunt before the closing. I went around the side and found a clad penny and then went around the back which is a small area with a stream, Mosquitos were terrible. I know there is a bottle dump there but because of the steepness of the bank I am unable to hunt it but see some shards and broken pottery (too bad I wanted to find a bottle dump). Next time I guess. So I continued on to the west side of the house when I got several clad in one hole. Nothing really there except some pieces of tin roofing and square nails. As I said in my other post I believe that this place has been hunted in the past because of so few targets. I move around to the front of the house where there used to be a stone walk way. Near this area is where I found the wheaties all in one hole. I check around near the old well that has two hugh flat pcs of stone on it, nothing and continue moving to the front step area and I get a hit. I think good somemore wheaties. I get my hole dug and probe and dig and probe, the hole is about 6 to 7 inches deep and I finally find my target. Yep another wheatie, no it looks different. I cant see it well and I don't want to scratch it so I spit on it , Oh Boy it's an Indian. My first Indian I found thats not from a seeded hunt. I can't believe it, I think about coming home to check it out and decide I don't have much area left and I can't come back since I'm busy all weekend so I decide to stay. Oh almost forgot to check the hole and plug again, I'm so excited. It's still beeping, can I be so lucky as to find my first and second all in the same hole, yup. I recheck and all is quiet. I fill the hole back in and stand up, swing and get another hit about 5 inches away. I think this is a wheatie nope, another Indian, thats three little Indians all in a row, Yahoo..................
I finish up and go to the front door and thank the people for letting me detect and come home. What a day. I hope I won't be let down with just ole plain clad the next time I go out.
