Finally found me some silver yesterday, it's been quite awhile. Picked up dime box as I was making my rounds dumping halves and got a shiny '61 (The Good). Unfortunately, this is the first silver I've found as my last 17 boxes of halves and a few odd-boxes of dime were ALL skunks (The Bad).
In one of the banks where I don't go often I asked if they had any old or unusual coins. The teller said she didn't and we got to talking as she counted my box 'o halves. She mentioned how a few months back some young person came in with a bunch of loose coins, including a silver one with a bunch of coloring she's never seen before (I think it may have been this -

She mentioned how she didn't like the odd coins and that alot were really old ("somebody must have passed away and they didn't want them"). So when a customer came in and asked for that coin in her tray she mentioned the others causing them to quickly buy those too (The Ugly).
