In Texas one of the most sought after points, after anything Paleo, is a Montell. That buck-toothed Mid Archaic point is usually found busted up and missing a tip or a barb. The buck teeth that are it's hallmark usually have an apposing angle to them. They were made to last. When you find a broken one, it's usually base and teeth. Impact fractures and mistakes in manufacturing account for the greatest percentage of the brokes found.
I just purchased a different one that had straight buck teeth. It caught my eye and I like different oddball artifacts. Here are a couple from my wanderings with the oddball last.
