Its about 3ft long, all wooden, no markings, very little wear markings which I find odd.
The center part in the head swivels as shown in the pics. It has a trough on one side of the center part that leads down to a narrow hole.
Hopefully I captured all of that in the pics.

The handle part its just a straight cylinder, no wear makings to indicate that it was stuck into any thing.

Thats about it, a very simple object with one center part that swivels around the best it can despite its triangular shape. I have no idea what it could be used for.

'Thanks

I have a family member that likes to collect junk from auctions, garage sales and flee markets.
This was among a box of random junk.

Nope, it has no markings what so ever on it. Tho im In Oklahoma, chances are good its from either Oklahoma, Kansas, Arkansas or maybe Missouri.

We have two theorys so far, that its some kind of seeder where the seeds drop down into the middle thing and one side gets pushed up causing the smaller end to pour seeds out.
the other is its an atlatl, tho the pics of the ones we looked up dont really look like this.

Don't feel too bad, here's Paula Dean explaining it to her audience at a Houston food show.
