Im sorry try this link for a modern version of it. Tachograph Training - Crosshands

My research leads me to believe that if the numbers are 1-24 with six segments in between each, this suggests 24 hours in 10 minute divisions. Found this online.

I have this magnifying glass, cast iron base, aluminum disc numbered 1-24 that turns. Anyone have an idea what it's for?

Wow I have not seen these used in over 15 years; in Europe the trucks have a slot for a little card the police just plug into.

German Police had a real big case with highjacked Tacho's some years ago. Turns out a soldier from the US Army was selling off old ones from the Army and someone was highjacking them some how to read something else and selling them off big.

That is a pretty cool find.
