This is most likely from a Ford Model T, since I’ve found so many other Model T items in the same area. This is a bowl-shaped, non-ferrous item. The top is broken out of it. The top says, “Ford made In USA” as well as I can tell. I’m guessing a cap used to cap off a fluid, oil, gasoline, etc. I also wondered if it could cover the center of a wheel/axle. The ammo casing can show size. It is a .380 auto

I think it is the wheel axel cover

Maybe an old Kerr jar lid?
