Odd lead piece.

Thought it was a tire lead wieght ballancer, but not sure. Any ideas?

It could be used for several things. But was probably used for fishing sinkers or auto body work. Before they had bondo body repairs were made with lead. I don't know how much it is used now but we were using lead into the late '70's mainly for around doors, hoods, trunks anyplace that would be slammed where bondo might come loose
