✅ SOLVED Odd lead part to something

Found this in a Civil War battle field area. It comes in as lead on MD and has lead patina. Looks like it was mounted on something and the rounded part at bottom looks poured or press against something (is the thickest part of object).

I have a couple of those from a Civil War site in Missouri, only much larger. The troops poured their own lead bullets. This appears to be slag from the pouring operation. Mine still have the circular motion to them from the round mold. Yours appears to have a curve to it, too. Some soldier's overpour. Good job!

Thanks all. I think it probably is from cast lead. Found a lot of melted and flatten bullets as well.
