Went this morning with some snow still hanging around my partner and I were doing a sweep of some swamps and low areas outside of a battlefield.We made two wide sweeps to see if it was worth doing a more detail search.
After getting by the dump sites off the dirt road we came in on I was digging shotgun shells ,shot , rim fire brass and my center fire brass then hit a dropped three ringer my partner call me and said he had just dug a good size chunk of shell.
My next target rang big iron so I though shell but got saw blade my 1st one I thought it was cool. A nice Enfield with a hard tamp on the nose and a sweet Rosewood plug. I asked for a pic of buddies Shell frag when he gets it cleaned so I'll post that maybe tomorrow.
