Hello All. I found this piece at an old homesite near an old saw mill. It is brass, about 3-IN long, and the OD on the round end is 1.5-IN. The small hole on the large OD is threaded but the hole near the top "T" end is not. This thing looks familiar but I cannot place it. Please let me know if you have any ideas on its use and vintage. Thanks and HH.

Great ID, vhs07 :icon_thumleft:

When used in a wall hung flush tank, they called it a Douglas Flush Valve. Here's a pic with more of the hardware installed, for those wondering what the bracket was used for.

Hello vhs07. Nice ID. I would not have guessed this is a toilet valve pc. They sure made it heavy duty...probably no Home Depots around back in the day for plumbing repairs. Thanks for the reply and HH.

It's from an old toilet flush valve.

just as an experiment, if you can find a grease fitting laying around (there are 2 sizes) try screwing it into the threaded hole and see if it fits.
