a friend asked me to post this for him and possibly find out a little about its age and use.
he said it came from the estate of June Lockhart the actress but thats about all he knows.
its got a weird texture to it kinda like a hard paint or plastic. it would be great to know what this surfacing was called. as to the bottle its self? im kinda leaning toward a sake carafe. any input?

What I believe you have there is a set of cloisene. Very rare if set is complete . Go to ebay under cloisine and check out value best value if sold by set For example my father once purchased ! of 2vases that belonged to set Had he picked up the othere he would have made 4 times the value Or google cloisene/cloisine not quite sure of spelling Good luck Rob :coffee2:

Dan also the tell tale sign of cloisene is brass on the top and the bass inside the pink is wire the pink is enamel . Some pieces date back centuries . It is a kind of object you must take to an expert . There is alot of recent cloisene on the market as I still look for old pieces . ost of which is junk .However pieces marked with chinese letters or stamped Occupide Japan tend to bring the most market value I hope this helps you.
