Hi all,
Here are my finds from the latter part of September and October. As you can see, there is no shortage of junk at this swimming hole! The picture only shows what made it home in my pockets, not what got dumped in the garbage can on the way home. I found the tungsten ring first, then the 10k white gold band a few days later. Didn't find anything but junk for a few weeks, and then I found the diamond ring. I almost didn't dig it because it sounded so much like a bobby pin. From now on I will never pass up a bobby pin sound again, lol. I took it to a jeweler who said the diamonds are 1/5 carat each. My cousin was with me when I found it, she said dynamite couldn't have blown the smile off my face that day.:laughing7: The water is too cold to get in now, so I guess it is back to relic hunting for a few months. I sure will miss the water hunts. Good luck to you all!

Bill, I did try that with a borrowed wetsuit that was a little too big. I wound up with a frozen bottom :laughing7:. Maybe I will ask for one for Christmas - one that fits lol! Thanks for the replies everyone!

The one diamond ring is a killer nice find. Yes your wet suit has to fit.... as far as using a borrowing one...... ummmm i think ill pass. To much like borrowing someones underwear lol. Nice month.

It was my husbands :laughing7: . Wouldn't have borrowed from anybody else, lol.

Love that diamond ring...great find...congrats.

I'm glad you have been able to hunt. Very nice finds too. About the second week of September I decided it was too cold to get in up to my chin, lol.... and everyone quit swimming around here. Finds had been dropping off sharply too. Local lakes should be dropping already but I've been watching and they are steady as of last night. Thanks for sharing your finds. I've been wondering if you have been hunting. Keep up the good work. Hey, I find my best stuff after the water drops.

You did very well, bet the gold warmed the frozen bottom.
