Hi all,
Here are my finds from the latter part of September and October. As you can see, there is no shortage of junk at this swimming hole! The picture only shows what made it home in my pockets, not what got dumped in the garbage can on the way home. I found the tungsten ring first, then the 10k white gold band a few days later. Didn't find anything but junk for a few weeks, and then I found the diamond ring. I almost didn't dig it because it sounded so much like a bobby pin. From now on I will never pass up a bobby pin sound again, lol. I took it to a jeweler who said the diamonds are 1/5 carat each. My cousin was with me when I found it, she said dynamite couldn't have blown the smile off my face that day. The water is too cold to get in now, so I guess it is back to relic hunting for a few months. I sure will miss the water hunts. Good luck to you all!
