Looking for help on South Jersey beach spots and state parks to detect beach and shallow water. Have several areas of high erosion picked out but would appreciate your input. Not into deep surf yet... don't have the equipment for it, however, know what to look for in the way of holes, runnels and erosion patterns. Jim Brouwer's book- Gold Beneath the Waves has been most helpful. It has pointed me away from the main beach at Ocean City which has been replenished and has not lost a lot of sand since 2002. I did notice the 18 foot erosion at Atlantic City early this year and wondered if it affected Ocean city much and if anyone was able to take advantage of it... it's not that far away. Thanks for your attention and input... also would not mind hooking up with another hunter the last week of June.
