These were found on a friends ranch on the eastern Sierra slopes. Many broke pieces but a nice mix of scrapers and lamellar blades too. This is also the first time I found a whole obsidian point! An Elko side notch I believe. My wife found the contracting stem base which though incomplete, is still awesome! The tip above it is not the same piece, I just set it up that way to show her what it would have looked like. The big piece is a mystery to me. It looks like a claw… but what could it be, a big scraper or skinning knife? It looks like it’s edges have been worn down by the elements a bit. As always, input is appreciated. Thanks!
