Hello All!
I have this huge oak tree in my back yard. It has Four trunks extending from one base and,I estimate the tree to be about 150 yrs old. The tree is located beside a normally dry creek however, the overhanging branches make it perfect for climbing, swings and tree houses. The soil around it is a mixture of sand and clay. some more than others in certain places as this is a low lying area subject to frequent flooding. I found the Peace ring tonight directly beneath our tire swing which is located in the middle of rope burns from previous swings. the nickles are 1940, (i found it) 1959 (wife found it) and 1960 (both of us found it). They were all about 6" down execpt for the 1959 nickle it was about 2" with a BH discovery 1100. The 1964 dime we both found at my parents house. None of these were easy finds as we have been over these areas several times.Thank Ya'll for looking,
