I hunted my garden plot for 15 minutes today and found this lead seal which I was going to post and ask help with ID. I googled the letters and found a post here on TN from 3 days ago which had the same letters on it which stand for New york Central & Hudson River Railroad. The railroad existed with that name between 1876 and 1914 so the seal dates to that time period. The back on mine is different with just HB 10 so I do not know what that stands for, any help? My property runs up against that railroad property and years ago there was an old watering tower behind my house for the old steam engines. I am old enough to remember them! I thought it quite a coincidence that two of these seals show up 3 days apart. I live in Lewiston , NY not many miles North of where the other seal was found. Thanks for looking! HH Lloyd

Hi LLoyd, I have been fortunate to acquire quite a few documents from the H.R.R.R(Hudson River Rail Road) if you would like a few "Go Withs" I can send a few to you no charge.....Joe
