hi cincinnatikid. i found this site by back tracking this reference book to homestead of peter young his wife helped doctor and feed the displaced women & children at encampment.dont know if you can find one for your area if you can its well worth it. even shows drawings for the time period.dingertreasure 2 151.jpgtreasure 2 150.jpg

Your finds seem to date to the Revolution time period but i do not see anything Revolutionary War there.

Hopefully you can find a button or plate to confirm it is indeed RW..

Go back there a hundred times..

When I enlarge the pictures, your coin seems to show Britannia. Is there enough detail on the other side to tell what you have for certain? Have to agree with ModernMiner....those are some very interesting books you show.
