Hi Everyone -
I've actually been an occasional lurker here for about a year or so, but only just realized that I'm long overdue to introduce myself. I've been detecting for about 2 years, starting out with a Garrett Ace 400 the first year, then an AT Max most of last year. At the tail end of last year I went to an Equinox 800, but I still use my Garrett Pro-Pointer II. I mostly hunt old home sites and fields for coins and relics, and I rapidly learned that I absolutely love old merchant trade tokens - in fact, detecting quickly led to a new side hobby for me, which is collecting and researching NW Ohio trade tokens!
