Number 2 large cent this year

Hunted a site with a couple friends yesterday. Realized quick that the site was hunted out. Not many signals. So I tried to swing close to trees and where I thought others might not have swung their detectors. Picked up a few things, getting ready to leave and I get a low signal but the at-pro reads 82. 4 inches down and out pops my second copper of the year. I see Liberty at the top and 1797 at the bottom. Large coppers make my day every time.

Very nice job on the old Large Cent. We get them around here in the 1800's & we are thrilled. I can only imagine digging one from the 1700's.
