Not sure what NSL stands for but it is possibly a transportation button. From the backmark you can tell its date early to mid 1900's though.

Bought an old farmhouse,am remodeling. The previous owner said the house was built in 1910. Found an 1869 2 center,my brother found an 1875 indian. Mercs from the 30's and 40's.

what kind of shape are the coins in? Both of those coins in good condition are worth about $20 or so each. Dug coins will bring less though.

Thanks, Ocala,you nailed it! There is an abandoned track faily close,and it was the "North shore line" It didn't even register with me. My buddy found some news articles about the farm and one of them was how a heifer got hit by the train. That was big news back then!

your welcome buddy was visiting friend from tnet last night and we were busy looking up some stuff/research here in FL. and myself AND sundancer ( he taught me how to research) figured it out, was great fun looking the stuff up..glad WE could help...gregg
