Morning all - Went back to the same "hunted out" park that I hit last Sunday with my Nox 800 (posted results in a previous thread) and this time started to do more of a grid (last week just walked about in no particular pattern to get a feel for the Nox). Well, I'm not quite sure how a place gets referred to as "hunted out" because the Nox zeroed in on 27 Wheaties, 2 Buffalo Nickels and a 1923 Merc (and about $3 in clad). Wheaties were all dating to the 30s and 40s and everything old was 8" plus deep. If I had a good hit and saw the depth meter at max, I automatically would take 2 small shovel fulls out before probing with the Garrett. Truly loving this machine because it is re-opening spaces that I have been over time and time again. Not to sound like a Nox fanboy but this machine is a confidence booster if anything else...you feel like you are going to find something good each time out. Oh, almost forgot, as for specific settings....Park 1...yep that's it Park 1, default settings, didn't modify a thing besides bumping sensitivity to 24 which made a bit more chatter with all of the pull tabs, caps etc but you can definitely pull out the good signals amongst the trash. Happy Hunting All!

Congrats on the finds.

I have been getting the same results running the same set up at one of my "hunted out" sites too.

90% of my finds were also pinpointer deep.
