Now we're talking...22k gold ring!
With the bitter cold weather and now frozen soil I have been out very rarely this month.
Today was freaky and got up to the low 60's so frozen soil or not I am going hunting.
At a picnic pavilion area I have hunted more times than I can count in the past I came across this thing, a tab signal all the way but solid and no jumping so even though I suspected trash it had to be dug.
So glad I think this way.
6.1 grams of buttery yellow 22k goodness.
The name has its roots in Hindi and means "Pretty Eyes".
That, along with that purity number makes me think this came from India.
I never dug any gold past 14k in my life till this.
I never dug any gold with initials or a name before.
I have never dug a gold target with that type of foreign purity mark, either.
Also this is my first gold of 2015 and hopefully not my last.
Even if it turns out that way this one is worth it.
First, first, first and first.
All wrapped up in just one great target.
