You seem to be forgetting your audience. While posting this here is certainly relevant and allowed, it is in bad taste, IMO. You are welcome to share your auctions and post anything you want but please understand that mutual respect goes a long way here.

HUH? The bad taste and lack of respect in this thread has nothing to do with the OP.

A seller can say anything they want. "no returns" "no cash return only store credit" "15% restocking fee" etc but it all means nothing. Ebay buyer protection can and will overrule that in a heartbeat. Most buyers and sellers know this and using the terms above is really just an attempt to dissuade buyers from returning items based on buyers remorse. Omega has already said as much on other threads.

Personally I don't know much about ebay yet, but I would delete this entire part from your returns policy. It sets a negative tone to end the entire post and since i'm not sure if ebay backs this thought, it seems more like a deterrent to bidders.

"Returns are only accepted if the item is defected on delivery or misrepresented in the listing. Buyer pays return shipping and a 15% restocking fee."... "Items sold AS-IS will NOT be accepted for returns under any circumstances."

Yep, it's like having a scary looking guard dog with no teeth. It keeps a lot of people away from the house, even some good ones, but the day the thief approaches the dog can't do a thing except bark.

Thats a good analogy. I cecided a few weeks ago to start accepting returns - maybe it will help increase sales, plus we all know if a buyer really wants to return something ebay will most likely let them.
