I am wrapping up my second year detecting and it has been very rewarding. Check out my signature below for past month's finds and the ring/relic returns I've had.
November was a slower than usual month due to some travel and bad weather, but a good month for gold. AND it looks like I'll have another class ring return happening very soon. Thanks for commenting.
Finds:
Lots of clad and several wheats
Silver Coins:
1 Merc; 1928S
2 Roosies; 1951D and 1964D
Silver Jewelry - 1 .925 Ring (it's the most beat up silver I've ever seen, but the acid test came back positive for sterling)
Gold Jewelry:
10k High School class ring 1959 - I've found the owner and making arrangements for the return.
10k white gold ladies ring with 4 diamonds and the most beat up pearl I've ever seen.
Matching man's and woman's 10k rings. These were found on the same beach about a foot apart. Figure the odds...
