I met up with Trash N Cash and Mikewaz, and Mikewaz's friend Sam? I can't remember his name, sorry! we headed out to the woods. I tried some new spots to little evail, ended up going back to the tried and true locations, did OK. Kept my silver streak alive with the war nickel. I also found the religious medallion, I don't know what exactly it represents, but it is in Latin.

I'm going to keep this short because I'm tired and hungry. These are the finds- nickels: 1941, 1942 P silver, 1946, 1948, 1964. Pennies: 1939, 1946, 1954, 1962. Religious medallion, also tons of crap. Nails galore, foil, pulltabs, pens, flatware, odda and ends that got tossed out. Had a great time! We saw the gentleman who works with Bomber, he was heading to the woods with his lucky son (who won the Ace 250) as we were exiting. I hope he finds a silver dollar! What a great sight.

Hope you guys have a great weekend.

Joe

Hey Joe,

good job on those nickels, Congrats

Awesome job bud!!! :icon_pirat:

Looks like a Saint Lowbatts medallion. If so, it represents the persecution of loveable MD'ers by hand-wringing bureaucrats and seeks the intervention of mental illness for all those who interfere with our passion. Value?
Eye of the beholder!

Nice digs!

You could see the smile on lucky Joe's face a mile away. He couldn't wait to get into the woods.
Hope they let us know how they did.
Mike
