Notifications of Replies not working

Been dealing with this issue for over two years I think.
I'll get an email when the first reply is made, but it seems that QUICK replies are not triggering notifications.
Took me a while to figure that out.
Wondering if anyone else is seeing that.

Yes, it works on the first reply.... sometimes on the second... but after that, nothing.
Last post had 7 replies and I got one notification.
That's the way it's been for a while now.

Yes, got a notification on your 1st, then this one, but nothing when the next one from when treasure hunter replied.
I've talked to admin about it before, but will go back and look at old threads.
There will be 20 - 50 replies and I've only gotten a few notifications from the first few.

I got notifications turned on but haven't got them in a long long time. I'm just got use to it now.

Yes, same here....... but it's pretty vital to a "forum" to keep traffic up and keep people "engaged".
Also, sometimes people ask questions and they think you are ignoring them.
