Sounds like some awesome finds to me! Woulda been even better if ya saw an old foundation huh? I do alot of walking in the woods, alot of times not knowing where im going or been lol, anyways I found an awesome old home sight a couple years back b4 i started MDing, now I cant remember where it is at! I now carry a gps with me when I go out. Good luck on your next hunt!

Sounds like an excellent day! At least you found the ticker before it got a chance to do any damage. I found one on my hip last year. The only thing I saw was a red circle about the size of a dime. There were little legs sticking out. He had burrowed right on in. Played hell getting him out too! Still have the scar. Nasty little bugs. Good Hunting!
