Ok found out after detecting most of the park that when my QXT Pro is in coin mode thats about all its going to find. I thought it would also find gold but after throwing my wedding band down to test the macine and me getting nothing. Well was sorta pissed that i did most of the park before finding this out. O well tomorrows trip to a different park will be better i hope lol. Did find this ring. Fake but love the pattern. HH

I'm not familiar with the QXT , but I'll bet you had your Discriminate set too high, or some other setting rong. YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO DETECT A GOLD WEDDING RING. I don't think coin mode should discriminate out nickels. which are around the same area as Gold rings

I have a QXT and I found a gold ring for a friend in his yard, use the coin and jewelry program turn the VCO audion on and Tone ID on. good luck. Try this website; http://66.51.97.78/jb/quantum.html lots of help there.
