Looked at Alberts button book for state buttons hoping to find out something about this little eagle button. It has five stars, and on the top the letters N and H and on the sides,a D on the left and and S on the right. I can't tell diddly sqat about the backmark.

Well I'll be! Thank you so much for the help. I guess I didn't know where to look. I was definitely thinking NH had to mean New Hampshire.

not having alberts handy could you enlighten us as to what the legend refers to? the example link doesnt describe excepting veterans button.
