To be honest, all of my notable cent finds have been in the last week or so. But I think I've really grown to enjoy hunting cents as much as I love hunting halves and dimes.
cud that I found earlier this year. I think this find is what really made my interest in cents jump.
1900 Indian cent - my first Indian found metal detecting, second found overall, found about a month ago. Giving it the olive oil soak to loosen up the dirt, and I think it'll turn out pretty decent after a couple months. This was only my second notable metal detecting find in over a year of detecting, which is why I love roll hunting so much more!
2000 wam - my first wam, and I found it last week! It was one of those finds where I had to rub my eyes to make sure I was seeing what I thought I was seeing.
1893 Indian cent - first Indian found in a box of cents, third found overall, early this week, and it was an ender! It's in nice shape except for a notch in the rim. The rest of the box wasn't great.
1890 Indian cent - second Indian found in a bag of cents, fourth found overall, just this morning.
not sure what to make of this one I just found this morning as well. The reverse and rim look normal, but the obverse has just the faintest ghost of Lincoln. I'm going to take it to the LCS for an opinion, but I would love yours before I do that.
