Went for a drive to see some flood areas and try to have a detect. Lots of areas affected. Couldn't drive into where I hoped to, but was I guess to be expected. Had a go on the outskirts area. Only got into the bush by 500 meters. Past that you needed a hovercraft 😆
Nice day though.
Hunted for several hrs, garbage area really, not rubbish wise just hit hard for decades and was lucky to get any signals at all.
Finally got a bit of yellow. I dropped it after spitting on my finger to pick it up 😂 yep that small. Few minutes later I found it.
Thankfully was no wind to blow it away😀

Water on the sides and over the roads going there.

Nice going on the itty-bitty piece of gold. Sure does look pretty.
Now that's some puddles built up there Chilli, but then that sign says you're at the water holes.

Thanks. Hard getting out here with the rains and floods. Go to get to some places and they are full flooded out.
As an aside, a few weeks ago I had a stem for my Garrett 24k which I use now and ordered a longer one, stolen from our postal service. Was happy the guys in our post office have known me for years and told Aus Post dont do an inquiry it was stolen. Otherwise would have taken over 2 months.
Got a refund within days and now have it replaced. Very hard to get here anything Whites or Garrett 24k. Put the stem on just 2 hrs ago, perfect!
Very happy and looking forward to getting out after these other coming floods. 👍
