Looks like a button.. What does the other side look like?

its thick like a coin and i think its copper has writing on this side cant make it out i think some of the first letters are pla and there is more just cant make them out its domed shape

l found it in southern maryland its the same diameter an a nickel.found some civil war bullets too.
