Found this at an old home stie the little cut stone is green but the hinges around edge appear to be on the wrong side to be a lid off a jewelbox maybe some kind of dazzle for a horse bridle idk any ideas

I don't think the rolled pieces are hinge parts.
They look like a wire passed through them. My WAG is a hair clip/ barrette.
