Not sure what this is? It kinda looks like a rough diamond?

I found this in a creek down the road from my house. It's kinda hard to explain. If you hold it up to a light, you can see light through it and some dark specks inside. You can't really tell it in the pics but it's really sparkley in some spots. I ran it across an old piece of glass and it easily scratched it. Any ideas?

Great observation! The edges look to be smooth and foggy-- similar to glass thrown in a fire.

Not a diamond (sorry). Could be Chalcedony, or any of the other possibilities mentioned.
