Not sure what it is some kind of medalion?

Found this the other day. I think it is copper, it has a knight on the left side in ful plate armour holding a sword, and round shield on the right there is a caged lion, like maybea circus cage or something. The door to the cage is open and the lion seems to be getting out. There are three flowwers across the top and bottom of the piece. Not sure what it is can anyone help me out?

Dunno what it is, but it's cool lookin'. It has that late Victorian look to it. I would guess it's from the late 1800s to about the 1920s, at the latest. Just a wild guess, based on the style of the thing.
