✅ SOLVED NOT SURE IF THIS IS A HORSE ROSETTE

Well small at 1.5 inches and has the look however not sure so possibly just a lid to some container yet not sure how that might work. Reverse side not sure if this shows lead remaining or rust build up over tin? backing and too why the sun burst design as well. Was there ever some kind of attachment here? So a mystery. Any help here much appreciated.

Not a rosette. Whatever it is had a hinge pin. Lid to something.
