Found this at an old cellar hole which dates to the mid to late 1700’s. Thinking it might be a lead bottle top but I honestly have no idea.

Or could it be a wax seal stamp?

It's the top to a powder tin.
Powder tins were what the powder was sold it.
Not to be confused with a powder flask.
