The hat should still do well for the amount invested though. Also picked up a few others that should do well, paid 50¢ each for them. IMG_6289.JPG

Grabbed this Cross pen and pencil set (10k gold filled) for $2.50 after my discount. The logo on them says Murphy Bros. IMG_6283.JPGIMG_6284.JPG

Signed first edition book, again, won't make a killing, but should do ok for the buck I paid for it.

I paid $7.00 for a 2nd generation 2gb Ipod Shuffle, wasn't sure what they sell for, but figured my daughter would use it. Now all I need to do is actually start listing some stuff again before the show "Hoarders" knocks on my door. No killing today, just a bunch of bread and butter stuff.

Wow, those are awesome finds! My thrift stores only have junky caps. I've sorta given up looking. How long do you spend looking through the books to find a first edition? (Just curious)

Sorry, I've been out of town the past few days. I don't search for books, I don't know enough about them. This one happened to be sitting on a clearance rack as I was passing by. I do know enough to pay attention to leather bindings. :)

I was at this same store a few days before I found this one and some guy was going through every book on the shelves scanning them. I guess that is an easy way to check books, but when the employees start noticing people doing that, books are going to end up being priced at retail just like all the other crap they sell.
