Found this today. I can't seem to find any info on this type of bracelet. It says Jane Craft. It's from Hempfield Area High School. Anyone have any idea how old this is?

Really!! It says 925 silver. So I'm guessing it's not from a bubblegum machine. But thanks anyway Ant.

Post a clear pic of the ring and mark, that inlay looks like modern day trinket jewelry, the whole set looks like that. It has what looks like a glued on top, if it is silver there should be a basel that secured the dome, that I don't see. I'm judging on my cell phone. Is that an actual school or area? I find a lot of this junk:

Looks like you have the top laying there. The stone is missing. It looks like a Zale's or Walmart high school ring. For a fraction of the price that Balfour, Josten or other ring companies charge, you can go to a jewelry store and get a cheaper silver, or fake metal ring that looks authentic, but doesn't have the school info. I sold my bachelor's ring when gold went to $2000 or so a couple of years ago. I searched evrywhere for a ring, then decided to buy a silver, palladium ring from my college. Paid nearly $800 for it. Way too much money, but it's pale gold in color, large size, 10 pt. diamond and M.A. instead of B.A. to celebrate my master's. I love it, but that ring you have sells for much less. Could have been home schooled. Don't know. Just an idea...

Welcome to TreasureNet!
I believe this is a piece from Danecraft (rather than Jane Craft), who made lots of charm bracelets in the 1960's. Here is some information about the company: http://www.charmchatter.com/vintage-charm-manufacturers-danecraft-inc
I think some of the previous responses were on the thought that it was a finger sized ring, rather than a charm sized one

all I can tell you is it was sold in the School store at Hempfield High School in Landisville, Pennsylvania.
Probably to a former Cheerleader .

there is no Conceivable way to be sure to get it back to it's original Owner.
You could put adds in the Papers that serve East & West Hempfield Townships here in PA
and hope someone wants it bad enough to claim it was theirs.

Odds are there were allot of them lost & unless the location you found it can be
narrowed down to one particular former Student, Put it in your collection

Welcome gardengal - Most people on Treasure Net will help you out with any info they have, don't be discouraged by the smart as#*!!!

I have returned a few class rings - and that takes some time and research. You will be hard pressed trying to find the owner of that bracelet. - Good Luck though and keep us informed on any progress!

It makes sense being a keepsake that the school book store sold, not a class ring.
