Hello all, been detecting for awhile and have no clue what these are. The big piece is almost a pound and the holes are not threaded. The other is toast of course, and I've seen many chunks of this type of corroded metal, but this one is strange. Has a square hole in the back, but the holes for the screws appear to be such that the screws are supposed to be mounted from behind. Thought it might be from a vending machines but otherwise, got no clue. Any info would be helpful. Thanks for looking.

The piece on the right looks to be made of zinc and was likely part of a cabinet or door lock.
The round piece with the holes strikes me as being either automotive or electrical in nature. :icon_scratch:

The piece ANTI is referring to appears to have been found on beach due to its signature salt corrosion... is this correct ?

IMO Aluminum.

Thanks Dave, it appears to be made for some heavy duty use but without threaded holes, I can't see how it could stay in place unless it was pounded in place. I'll keep thinking.

Not in slat water AARC, but in Florida soil.

The piece on the left could be some type of roller bearing holder . maybe it could go over a spindle ?

The piece on the right may be sacrificial zinc anode from an outboard motor or an outdrive.
