Blew my ears off.... hoping for a Barber half.
So, it’s a sash buckle?.... huh.

Well, we know that Sterling is at least 92.5 % pure silver. Put it on your Bucket list and cross it off.
Congratulations

That buckle is pretty sweet BWD. What type of site were you on that made it surprising that this came up?

An old street, adjacent to the Edison and Ford winter homes. There were houses there years ago, but now empty lots used for overflow parking for the Estate tourists. The past month it has been a staging area for hurricane debris, so tractors and dump trucks have been tearing up the turf. The place has always been rock hard and full of trash.... I’ve hunted it hard in the past with no luck, till today. It’s really all I found.

Congrats on the sterling buckle, on never knows what will turn up.

Very nice Sterling buckle man. That big old sucker is SWEET!:headbang:

Empty lots, where dump trucks, trash and other traffic have been...rock hard ground...I've hunted places like those, BWD, and it's not much fun! A lit of work for little reward, but in this case...you scored huge! Congrats man, beautiful piece! Ddf
