Beach & Shallow Water Hunting
Lately I have been finding only brokes, scrapers and utilized flakes. But the huge storm of a month or so ago (100 mph gusts) has torn everything up so I am hopeful for a good spring after a few more monster tides and a couple more blows. The large pink scraper is a really nice stone, translucent agate material and the small orange on is agate too.

Nice unusual pink colored scraper! Storms haven't done anything here yet. My spots are on protected waters - the monster (king) tides have come up and gone down like gentle pond water...

Looks like it has a nice little appendage that could be a graver spur, or cutting aid too.

Cool finds and you have some of the finest looking stone materials.

boy howdy! no two the same, i have yellows and reds and oranges and browns, greens, carnelians, chalcedony, obsidian, and on and on. I know you have seen pictures of the Clovis cache from Wenatchee... those must have been made for show.

that storm was on the monster tide during a full moon...it took out all the protecting wall of logs up and down the beach, changed all my landmarks like i haven't seen in more than 50 years of hunting that place.

yes it does and it is a big chunky thing too...much thicker than i am used to.

Better than what I got today :(
