Got up early and motivated, hit 6 different yard sales. All I got to show for my efforts is this Boy Scouts swiss army knife by Victorinox. Looks like I could fetch decent money for it on the Bay.

Hardly any jewelry and almost no watches at the sales I hit. First one was advertised on Craigslist as "multi-family", but that seemed to mean two families, neither of which had anything good to sell. Half of it looked like it should just hit the trash can LOL. Only one sale had a decent amount of jewelry but it was all useless costume stuff. At another sale, a guy had a huge Timex diver watch, must have been 50mm in diameter and was on a bracelet style band. He wanted $50 for it, but I was thinking, no way am I buying a modern, used Timex at a yard sale for 50 bucks! I would not be surprised if he's still holding onto that watch come tomorrow morning.

Well, you never know 'til you go, so happy hunting all!

Not much good for me either, about 12 sales all I have to show for it is an old metal 50 cent flashlight, a nambe platter for 10 cents and the best thing was an older USGI helmet with liner, cover, and band for $10.

I also saw an $800 Underwood No. 5 Typewriter, I told the guy at that price he would likely own it for the rest of his life.

Sales are slow everywhere this weekend because of the holiday. Low tide is around 6:30 in the morning. I may have to break out my detector in the am.

22 yard sales on Saturday for me, found nothing good.
