Was out for a 2 hour hunt here in Newfoundland and found these. Been hunting some woods/pasture area trying to locate some old British/etc coins and relics. First time detecting in a few weeks, since about Virginia.
Hey, you know how that goes,
got to make sure to do the sightseeing with the wife first. Which I will have to say Newfoundland is very nice this time of year. Was in Twillingate Newfoundland about a week back and seen these floating about. Anyway, plan on doing as much detecting as possible in between of course sightseeing. Today our plan is to go to Cape Spear to do the ritual of standing on the most eastern part of North America.
Was quite a adventure loading on to the ferry from Nova Scotia to arrive in Port aux Basques. (7 hrs.)
Back to NS from Argentia is a 16 hr. trip.
