My first hunt in a week was nothing to write T-Net about...hey, wait a minute! Anyway, totals down across the board today. Results -

***$40/PENNIES***

Tied my lowest daily wheat total, and no [red]new[/red] dates either.

Wheaties: 1940, 1941-D, 1944, 1956-D

Canadian: 1983, 1984, 1986

...and my first counterpunched penny --> a 1975-D Lincoln-Kennedy.

***$40/NICKELS***

One [red]new[/red] date and two [blue]keepers[/blue].

Pre-1960: [blue]1939[/blue] (2), 1948, [red]1951-D[/red], 1953-S, 1957-D (2), 1958-D, 1959-D

Canadian: [red]1984[/red]

***$850/HALVES***

Still low on silver and keepers in general.

1966, 1987-P and a quarter.

Only my third 1987 ever so that was a bright spot but phew, silver half numbers are down at least 50% from what I'm used to. If this continues it'll put a huge dent in my yearly average.

IMMY, when I was out in AZ for the winter, I ran up to Vegas twice to hit some banks, the best bank I hit was the Wells Fargo on 95 in Henderson, just incase ya ever get over that way, also, they had no problem selling me boxes of pennies, nickels, dimes or quarters. Good luck hunting! :thumbsup:

P.S. the Wells Fargo in Boulder City was good too!

Yeah, Wells has been my bank for over 20 years. Funny thing is, they gave me the most problems with CRH. Their flaky staff would forget box orders, sell me only partial boxes or claim their vault was "too small" to accommodate big orders. Then I got conflicting stories from whoever was in charge that day. One day it was "You have to order boxes in advance" then next week it was "Nah, you don't have to order." My head was spinning after awhile. Plus about every other box was a skunk.

I made a great connection with B of A last year. Even though I didn't have an account they'd hook me up with boxes. They were even curious what I found. Plus this is important: the same people were always there. Whenever I'd make a vault buddy at Wells they'd get transferred out or promoted and I'd have to start from scratch all over again. I'll stick to casinos for now.
