Hello all,

Tomorrow, I resume work as normal. I’ve been getting out a lot lately and my finds are pretty great for this year so far.

Yesterday, tried some new curb strips. Favorite find was the orange tootsie toy car. Also, found a 1923 wheat penny and a 1918 Buffalo.

Today, went to a buddies house that’s pretty old and we hunted his yard. Found at least 20 memorials but only one wheat penny a 1955. Then, I went to an old park that’s been good to me and found a sunbaking 1917-D Buffalo nickel!! I’m gettin lucky that these nickels have legible dates! Porcelain button was a surface find as well.

Nice finds. Found my first tootsie a couple of weeks ago.

Did you check that '55 Wheat to see if it was a '55 Double Die ? Nice finds. It's always fun to dig the Tootsie Toy cars. They look great in a display case.

Yep, checked it but alas, not even one of the more common poor mans doubled die.

Congrats on the nice hunt! :occasion14:
