Can anyone identify and put an age on this? 5.68 inches and 5 tiny holes.
 

Vent tube for an old engine.

Given the bend and the diameter of the "pipe", I would say this is one arm of a 2 or 4 armed rotary lawn sprinkler. You can still find them in stores today, but this one was made of copper, so I would say late 1950's to late 1960's.
