These are my two oldest coin finds dug a few years ago at a place that was once a trading post. Now it's a development full of houses. The George copper seems oblong from a weird strike. The edges are cracked from what I'm guessing was a hard strike. Has anyone ever seen that before? My buddy also dug the same Conn copper minus the hole.

very nice. i have a question. when you found them, was the neighborhood already there or was it during the construction of the houses?

Nice finds, nice shape for being in ground so long. The soil up there must be real good on coins.
